Protect yourself and your community,
encourage Vaccinations for COVID-19
Utilize Public Service Announcements (PSA Scripts)
Two public service announcement (PSA) scripts addressing COVID-19 public health guidelines and vaccine key facts are available to help encourage uptake of the COVID-19 vaccine in your communities.
The PSAs can be:
• read or recorded by someone in your community (such as an Elder, a Knowledge Keeper or a health professional) for radio broadcast
• modified for print
• used for other community outreach and engagement efforts, as you see fit.
In addition to the PSAs, if you wish to conduct interviews with Indigenous Services Canada’s regional Medical Health Officers to discuss the vaccine roll-out, please contact the department’s Media Relations team.
If you have any questions, please visit Indigenous Services Canada online, or reach out to the media relations department at any time.
Indigenous Services Canada
Indigenous Services Canada has also prepared a toolkit that contains information and communications resources that Indigenous communities can use to share information on COVID-19 vaccines and the importance of maintaining public health measures.
