Manitoba Keewatinowi Okimakanak Inc. (MKO) Clinical Care Transformation Project
Improving access to health Services in Manitoba First Nations through Education and Job Creation as we work together towards a First Nations health system to meet the needs of First Nation communities in Manitoba.
Do you have a passion to work in the health field?
Would you be interested in providing health services to your community?
If you answered ‘yes’, we invite you to participate in this questionnaire to help measure interest levels from Manitoba’s First Nations Peoples in various occupations. Our first initiative is to create a Diagnostic Support Worker program which will allow a person to be trained to do X-rays and take blood in the nursing station. Other programs in the future may include nursing, health care aide, occupational therapy, physiotherapy, security, and paramedic medicine. Please take part in this questionnaire so that we will have an idea of the level of interest in health programs and will be able to contact you so that you can register for any future programs that may be available as a result.
This important initiative, provided by Manitoba Keewatinowi Okimakanak Inc., in partnership with Indigenous Services Canada and Red River College, is designed to improve access to medical services to Manitoba First Nations Communities, and build capacity through education and job creation.
