Status Card Renewal

Help remind registered individuals to update their expired status card! Renewal is simpler and quicker than ever.

Your Status will never expire, but status cards need to be renewed from time to time.

When applying for a status card, photos can be submitted from a smart phone free of charge using the SCIS Photo App.

Applications can be submitted by mail, or by visiting any regional or First Nation office. Renewal takes 8-12 weeks. For more information visit our website, at:
